Infinity Pet of the Week: Shrek

New Life for an Abused Dog

This is a story of love and luck…. if you believe in luck.  I don’t personally believe in coincidence, so I believe there was a divine plan allowing this poor, sad, scared, matted pup showing up at the farm of Dr. Brenda Gough on a cold night in October.  I won’t retell Dr. Ernie Ward’s eloquent story of this incredible dog, but I do hope that you will read Shrek’s story and watch the video here.

Dr. Gough and her team provided such a wonderful physical transformation for this poor fella.  It is likely that his emotional recovery will take much more time, but he’s in good hands now.

In some cases I can help first hand, but more often, I am helping with financial support, by volunteering, donating or offering other resources.  I know that many of you share this mission and have dedicated your lives to helping the forgotten animals of the world.

I am proud to be part of a community of veterinarians, healers, and good-hearted people who offer help to those who cannot help themselves… loving all animals to Infinity.
