★Helping you and your pets live healthier, longer lives★ by Dr. Margo Hunt
It is with great pleasure that I share our first Infinity Pet of the Week. Maggie is a sweet little 9-year-old Yorkshire Terrier (aka Yorkie) whose parents Pat and Stacy love her very much. This silly critter made the mistake of not reading my post yesterday and decided to check out some chocolate that was stashed in a houseguest’s bag last night…. so Maggie is at the emergency clinic. If you want to do the math on that calculator…. she is 6 lbs and ate 3 oz of dark chocolate. Can we all send Maggie some awesome, healing, detoxifying vibes? I know that she and her mamas will much appreciate it!
So, here’s a bit about Miss Maggie. She is an avid LSU fan and can be found watching the Tigers play football every Saturday in the fall, whether that be from the comfort of home or tailgaiting at the stadium. You see, her mom bought an RV just so she could take Maggie with her on trips. Is she spoiled? Yes! But, that’s just fine with Maggie. She looks like she actually enjoys all the outfits in her wardrobe, and I think we can all agree she looks adorable in purple and gold.
In addition to her travels for football, she often goes along on hot air balloon racing trips. Can you believe she’s been on several balloon rides? Most people I know haven’t done that, but Maggie is special… and she doesn’t know she’s a dog, so she fits right in on these trips. Here’s a picture of her getting ready to go up in a balloon.
She is a cool little dog with a spunky attitude, and I know that she brings her parents so much joy. And, they love her beyond belief. She’s one of those dogs that had to learn, early on in life, how to cope with people fighting for her attention.
Dogs have a tough job – looking cute at all times and unconditionally loving all they encounter.
Let’s all take a lesson from Maggie and enjoy the ride!
A huge THANKS to Pat and Stacy for sharing Maggie with us today.
